Knowledge Alliances (or Knowledge Partnerships) drive activities to bridge the gap and foster cooperation between the higher education sector and companies by means of actions that promote modernisation in higher education by means of applying innovation strategies and tools and encouraging new ideas and the entrepreneurship spirit.
The activities covered by the Alliances drive three core areas of action:
- New methods of learning and teaching, in order to make the educational sector more practical and less theoretical.
- Fostering entrepreneurship skills and capacities in all academic disciplines, and not in the business/economic field.
- Structured mobility, not only in the sense of geographical mobility but also sectoral mobility, in other words mobility among students, academic staff, entrepreneurs, office workers and staff in both sectors in general.
