The UPV/EHU Business School in Vitoria-Gasteiz to host one of the activities for a group of students from the Lyon IDRAC School
A group of 130 Lyon IDRAC business students are going to visit the Vitoria-Gasteiz UPV/EHU Business School, where they will attend the “Current Situation of the Alavés Business Fabric” lecture given by the Deputy Director of SEA Empresarios Alaveses, Aitor Otaola.
he Vitoria-Gasteiz Business School has signed up to this initiative in order to establish a partnership framework with the French school to consolidate its relations with other foreign higher training educational centres and increase the agreements of its Erasmus programme. The School likewise wants the IDRAC students to have the opportunity to know the UPV/EHU and the Alaves business situation. For this second objective, to consolidate the existing links between the UPV/EHU and the business world, the Business School as asked the SEA Empresarios Alaveses to be actively involved in this event.
The group of French students are going to be in the Basque Country from 5 to 9 March with a series of cultural and training goals: to discover a country, its people, its language, its history, acquiring knowledge on the international markets and on the economic reality of the region that they are visiting, along with discovering the European companies in the Basque Country. This initiative is part of the study programme of the school, which is planning to organise a trip in the first year of the degree so that the students can discover a European country from the cultural, economic and historical perspective. During the 2009-2010 academic year the students travelled to Germany and in 2010-2011 to Italy.
