Oier Etxaniz and Borja Tornos, the two ‘Focus on the Entrepreneur Fair’ contest UPV/EHU winner students, attended the Salon de L’Entreprise in Bordeaux. You can now read their about their experience:

We first travelled by car and then by train and after two hours we arrived at our destination: Bordeaux. There, a Colombian boy who who lives in France called David, was waiting for us. He was our interpreter and tour guide; he took us to the Salon de L’Entreprise in Aquitaine.

We met lots of people there: students willing to set up their own business and sponsors looking for young entrepreneurs with great ideas in order to help them with huge amounts of money. We spent most of the time with three ECA students, who, like us, were trying to start a new company. They told us that at midday they were giving a speech about their ideas and David was prepared to translate it to us, so we agreed to attend it in order to understand better their project and how they pretended to face their targets.

This is why, at midday we were at the conference and got informed about their projects: a restaurant specialised in sandwiches, an online jewellery company and a wine bar. Two other people, experts in entrepreneurship, attended the lecture. We had already talked with them previously. One of them, who works in internationalization, got on really well with us and seemed to be interested in our future French international spin-off. The other one, was creating a software based in online purchases through text messages, in principle focused on underdeveloped countries.

Besides all this, we had the opportunity to make some advertising of our entrepreneurial idea based on solving clients’ problems by using intelligent software: ASMATU INTELLIGENT SOLUTIONS:
